报告题目：Analytic Signals With Well Defined Instantaneous Frequency and Adaptive Decomposition of Signals

Abstract:

    The talk will introduce a class of mono-components defined as analytic signals with a.e. non-negative phase derivative (instantaneous frequency). Then we deal with adaptive decomposition of functions into mono-components. The keywords include analytic signal, Hilbert transform, instantaneous frequency, adaptive decomposition,  matching pursuit, greedy algorithm, orthogonal rational function system,  Blaschke product, best rational approximation.
 

报告人简介：

    钱涛教授，1984年博士毕业于北京大学数学系，曾是我国中科院数学与系统科学研究院研究员，后在澳大利亚麦考里大学等院校工作十余年，期间还访问了欧美十多个国家数十所名校，现任澳门大学数学系主任，美国和澳大利亚数学学会会员，SCI收录著名期刊Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences和Complex Analysis and Operator Theory的副主编。
