周爱民,于2009年获得英国埃塞克斯大学的计算机科学博士,目前是华东师范大学计算机科学与技术系的副教授。在IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, GECCO, CEC和EMO等国际期刊上发表学术论文20余篇。研究方向为进化计算、机器学习、图像处理及其应用。担任IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, IEEE Transactions on System, Man, and Cybernetics, Part B, Part C, IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine, Information Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research和Applied Soft Computing等国际期刊的评阅人。
Abstract: Many real word applications face a challenge problem, i.e., optimizing multiple objectives simultaneously. This kind of problems is named as multiobjective optimization problem, which is a challenge in both scientific research and engineering applications. This talk will cover three topics on evolutionary multiobjective optimization: (1) the definition of multiobjective optimization, (2) a state-of-the-art evolutionary algorithm for dealing with multiobjective optimization problems, and (3) an example to show how a real world problem can be converted to multiobjective optimization problem and how to solve it.
